Eco Church

Great News. We have been awarded a  Bronze Eco Church Award.

We have started our project in a few ways. At present we are monitoring all our energy usage. We hope to be in a position to understand if alternative green energy could help the church power consumption. Possible ideas:

• Solar panels
• Further extension of our heat pump
• Better insulation 
• Timers
• Card control to areas, similar to hotels

Just a few ideas we are exploring. The next stage will be to meet again as a group and understand the pathway to a Silver Eco Award.
